I first came to know about Manali when I had watched the movie 'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani'. That day itself, I promised myself, that someday I would plan a trip to Kullu-Manali. 

The main places to visit in Manali include the Solang Valley, Rohtang Pass, Hadimba Temple, Kasol, etc. If snowfall is what attracts you to this place, then it's advisable to plan a trip anywhere between October to February.

Apart from visiting these beautiful places, there are a ton of activities for you to do here. Some of the main activities include paragliding, river rafting, skiing, trekking, ziplining, bungee jumping and the list goes on.

4. Sikkim

 
Sikkim, a small part of the seven sisters of the northeast, boasts of many scenic places like its pristine waterfalls, snow-capped mountains, etc. It also houses India's highest, and the world's third-highest peak, Kangchenjunga. 

Gangtok, Sikkim's capital city, is a major tourist attraction of Sikkim. Tourists from all over the world visit Gangtok (mostly from October to December) to witness its beauty. Sikkim is definitely one of the best and most underrated places to visit in India (especially in November). 
 

5. Kerala

7. Puducherry

13. Jaipur, Rajasthan

15. Golden Temple, Amritsar


With a covering of 500 kg of pure 24-carat of gold worth ₹130 crores, Golden Temple at Amritsar is one of the best places to visit in India. It is also estimated that the Golden Temple attracts more visitors than the Taj Mahal. The pond surrounding it, also called the 'Amrit Sarovar', has medicinal properties.
